Educational and conservation initiative focused on documenting and studying bird-plant interactions, while promoting the sustainable use of native plants for reforestation, ecological restoration, landscaping and gardening. The project has created an open-access digital platform Aves & Plantas that offers a wide, interactive and constantly updated catalog of important native plants for birdlife. The website includes information about taxonomy, distribution, ecology, natural history, and ecological uses of native plants in Costa Rica, aiming to effectively connect scientific knowledge with both academic and non-specialist audiences.
