Cerulean Warbler Migration - 2025

It is the beginning of August and we are only weeks away from the first Cerulean Warblers arriving in Costa Rica, especially in the region of the Corredor Azul and Cerúlea Nature Reserve. We will be spending ample time at our reserve during prime Cerulean Warbler arrival in the last week of August and the first week of September to document this species.

Our team has begun its preparation for the visit, armed with binoculars, cameras and most important of all, extended experience with Cerulean Warbler behavior and identification to be able to pick this species out from the many other birds that compose the mixed species flocks moving through the high canopy.
