Avid Costa Rican naturalist and conservationist.
His current work is focused on leading the processes of establishing and managing the Cerúlea Nature Reserve; heading Aves y Plantas Costa Rica, a project dedicated to documenting interactions between birds and native plants, promoting the sustainable use of local flora; and actively works on the environmental restoration and bioliteracy program at the Corredor Azul.
In addition, he is an experienced natural history and birding guide, leading expeditions in Central and South America for Eagle-Eye Tours, Sunrise Birding, Birds Wildlife & Nature, National Geographic Expeditions and Flyway Tours.
Jose Pablo is a founding member and current president of the Cerúlea Environmental Association.
